Eric's been out playing

Eric headed up to Alaska almost 2 weeks ago and this was the result.  Now our freezer is full again!

(I take no credit for this video, Eric put it together himself!  It turned out great even if it was made on a Dell) :)

Summer so far

It's been great, lazy morning (sometimes the whole day) spent in p.j.'s, breakfast sometime in the morning, no lunches to pack....

However, school is still in session. Mia and Holly have set up school and it's amazing the things they can get L, T and J to do!  Complete with Art, P.E. and Music classes!  They even get to watch some School House Rock on YouTube.  Do you remember this?   (click on School House Rock or the word this for a trip down memory lane) Thank you, Mrs. Wolffis, for introducing Mia to these.  I really had completely forgotten about them!

No, Lucas isn't doing gang signs, they're up in the tree playing Rock-Paper- Scissors.

(great camouflaged outfit, don't you think. You can barely see him!)

As excited as everyone was for summer, we were all a little sad to say good-bye to the great teachers we had this year.  But it is only 74 more day until they get to go back! :)

Dear Friends

THANK YOU for stopping by last weekend. We know you were only here to visit for a few days and are so flattered you took the time to stop by!! I'm just sad I didn't get the milk in cookies out in time.  You even left your perfectly placed signature before you left. However, we must tell you, we were a little disappointed in your effort. We were really hoping the job would have rivaled one of your previous visits but of course you didn't want to be TOO late for church now, did you! :) Come back soon, we've missed you!

A glimpse

This made me smile a little. Tyler had placed all his treasured animals in the right spot around his bed. Something I used to do, too.

Memorial Day breakfast, provided by Mia and Tyler.

More "Fliers Up" this week. Lucas was the "caller" for this round.

Just hangin' around.

A favorite climbing spot.

Field Day was on Friday. Always a favorite day during the year.

Lynden Heritage Days was yesterday and the sun decided to shine it's face upon the festivities. It was a great day!

Mia was THRILLED with her job for the parade. Can't you tell!

Waiting, anticipating the next candy throwing entry to the parade.

The loot!

Click HERE to head to a gallery FILLED with photos from yesterdays festivities. If you are wanting any of the images from that gallery, shoot me an e-mail or leave a comment and I'll send you a link.

Nothing much

Our weekend over here was pretty low key. Sometimes that a-okay! Although we would have loved to have been bbq-ing and playing at the bay the weather just didn't cooperate. However, we did spend a little time exploring around Larabee Park on Sunday.

Monday the weather had moments where it was great and then it just poured! Holly and Mia just happened to be playing a game of "Ultimate Fliers Up" (not sure if that's a school game or a VH made up game, either way, they play it all the time forever!) when the downpour began and that made it that much better! Hope you all had a great holiday weekend! We're on the countdown of days left of school, we're in the single digits!
