Wrappin' in up.

A little wrap up of Decembers activities. It's one of our favorites months but also one of the busiest.
 First up, the highly anticipated elementary Christmas program. Once again it was a great one!
Then we had some family time with the VH Christmas party.
The week of the boys birthday they each had a party with the boys from their class. They loved having their own party and hanging with their buddies from their class.
A Christmas Eve visit from a couple of our favorite people. Christmas Eve Locked in my room with the kids while Eric set up his scavenger hunt. End result was pretty great! Christmas day we had lunch with Grandpa and Grandma VH and Dave, Denise and Alise.
Lucas chose to give his school project to Uncle Dave. Pretty sweet. (although his teacher helped him make another one so my set would be complete...thanks, Mrs. M!) After a busy week Eric and I were able to get away for a few days with some friends. A much appreciated getaway!
We missed spending time with a lot of our family but hope 2012 brings us together at some point!

November

These cold fall mornings we still have boys riding bikes to school and still wearing shorts.
The boys started Cadets this year! Hurray! However, I didn't want to tackle all these badges so Grandma to the rescue. I sent a little package to her via a friend and they're all looking good now!

Holly had a couple friends over to celebrate her birthday. Homework and laundry, laundry and homework.

This year we celebrated at Jason and Mandy's.

Then off to do a little bowling. Birthday girl!
 
We went to see The Muppets so Eric brought up some old episodes on YouTube. Good memories! Another great month. Time just keeps flying by!

Backing up

It's been a while so here's a little recap of the last month. Mia finished up a great fastpitch season playing for school. There's always a little baking, cooking, reading, working...something going on. Sunday hike. The recorder has re-entered our home...beautiful music! We also have 3 very excited Cadets at our home! Pastors Day...we love our pastors! Homework....via Facetime. Rather clever and convenient! (Hi Erv!) A great pumpkin stash from the Wiersma's...thank you! Fall music assembly. Last field trip to Stoney Ridge Farms. Another great year of coaching, with one of my all time favorite players! Fall sports are done! We've been enjoying the break before the start of basketball. Fishing season. Halloween! And now it's November and the morning frost has come!
