For Eric's birthday we decided to go bowling with the kids. When we got there the guy said leagues were starting in 45 minutes so we had to be done by then. I said no problem (and thought why didn't anyone tell me that when I called?!), that should be plenty of time. Was I wrong. Each frame took a loooooong time, especially for the ball to get down the lane and there was no way the kids wanted to leave so soon. Oh well, we'll just have to go back.

Bowling is one of our favorite things to do with the kids...isn't it funny how different our birthday parties are now compared to what they were 10 years ago.
Looks like great fun. I love bowling and we have not done that in years.

Happy Birthday to Eric! I can close my eyes and still see that little blond kid with the bangs that flopped on his forehead in little pajamas with feet begging me to let him stay up a little longer....dear boy hasn't changed a bit...ok, maybe a little bit...congrats cousin. Hope it was great
