Hello from Holland

At 89 years old, my Grandma passed away. On Thursday I headed to MI for her funeral. It was the first time in almost 20 years that just mom and dad and us 4 kids slept under the same roof together. After the funeral today we enjoyed a walk around her old farm remembering all the memories that were made there.
And our whirlwind trip would not have been complete without a trip (or 2) to Russ' and to Tulip Time (which happens to be this week).

Great picture of her house...great memories too no doubt. How nice that all of you could be there together - even under somewhat sad circumstances. At least you can all find comfort in that she's in a better place.
Love - me

I'm so sorry about your Grandma...even tho they lived a long life...it's still someone you've known all of yours. I'm glad you were able to be with your family...that's important. Have a safe trip home.

Sorry to hear you lost your grandma... that's so tough. Is it just you or did some kiddos and hubby go with you? I'm so glad you get to be with your family there during that time. Take care!

Hey Becky, Just wanted you to know that I've been thinking of you and your family. I hope that you had a good visit back in ol' Michigan.
