And one from a couple weeks ago....the day after Halloween!
And just a few funnies from the last little while.I gave Tyler some Peach yogurt for lunch and after he took a bite I asked "How is it?" and he replied "I was afraid you were going to ask that."
Then Lucas asked for a banana and I said I only had 1 left and it was brown and spotted. He replied "It's just decayed." I asked if he still wanted it and he said "of course, it's just decayed!"
A few weeks ago we were out on a walk and there were lots of leaves on the ground. Mia asked "Why are leaves symmetrical?" Hmmmmm, good question! And then we went on to wonder "Are all leaves symmetrical?"
One morning I was on the couch reading and Tyler and Joey had just woken up and were coming up the stairs talking. Joey was telling Tyler he wasn't allowed to match him today. They don't often match anymore, at least I don't make them match, once in a while they'll just pick out the same clothes so I found this particularly funny...what made today different?!?

Hey the pic with the trains made me smile. James loves trains and has really gotten into thomas trains. I found a garage sale that had about 1500.00 of thomas stuff including 94 wooden train for 90.00. I gave him a few of the trains now like 4-5 and the rest are for Christmas. I'm very excited.
I love all of your little stories at the end. Aren't those some of the best times of your day?
good for you for writing down all these little 'tid-bits of life'...before you know it, they'll be gone and you can sit on the couch and read..all day!! :)
thanks for sharing some glimpeses into your day, dear cousin. Joey sitting there with his arms crossed brings back memories of his father again, sorry 'bout that. I must have really liked Eric when we were younger...I cannot imagine why...but it is what it is. Can't wait to see you guys next week already...YAY!
THAT is entertaining. Love the random posts with lots of fun things to share.
Looks like several of these items (as well as some of those new slide .jpgs) should be making their way onto lists in your SIH book!
