For the birds

I am referring to the weather during our outings to the pumpkin patches this year. Each time we've been there it's been pretty wet and rainy. But no one seems to mind and a good time is had by all! We went after school last week with some friends just for fun.
Then on Friday afternoon I headed with the kindergarten class on their field trip. Wet and cold but the ladies at the farm kept us warm with fresh coffee and the guys who owned the place were so busy entertaining the kids (with the pumpkin launcher especially!) and everything else, it made for a great afternoon.
Saturday the sun was out just in time for a morning full of soccer games. Holly had her last game and did great! Mia had 2 last games. They were great games, super close and down to the wire but we finished off the season in first place!!
Today while the girls were in school, the sun peeked out for a while so the boys and I headed to the park to play for a little while! Oh yeah, and somewhere in there was a Rockin' Wallyween party but the pictures just didn't seem to flow with this post...sorry! :) It was another great week around here!
And one last note...don't forget to vote!!
