Friday was the elementary school Christmas program. It was AWESOME! Almost 400 kids singing the Hallelujah Chorus is just amazing! The spiffy white cakes with red bows have been a tradition since the 1950's. Eric even wore one when he was in elementary school.

Sunday afternoon video chattin' with the whole Reimink gang. It was fun and got a little chaotic on our end. I think it's because my monitor isn't nearly big enough! :)

Yesterday we decorated "ginger bread" house.

Then we headed to Aunt Joan's for more Christmas cheer. Thanks, Aunt Joan, for loving this crazy bunch!

And then Uncle Dave showed up. (actually Mia invited him for dinner) He felt that he might have been invited for other reasons, too, so he had a little trick up his sleeve. He had mentioned that they had to open their Christmas gift from him before the boys birthday. So he had them all put their heads down on the table while he went outside to get it.

Then, he told them to look at what he got them! New #2 pencils and red pens.

Not quite sure what to think.

Then he FINALLY went back outside to get their "real" present.

MARIO CART!!!

But I do think Lucas still liked his pencil better. :)
