This weekend we celebrated Eric's 40th birthday with friends. What a great night! We had asked some friends of ours, who have hosted larger groups from time to time and make incredible food, if they'd be willing to host the dinner for us and they actually said YES! We were thrilled! A HUGE thank you to Captain Randy and Janice, Jeff and Kathi, Marla and Dan and Jim and Stacy! You guys outdid yourselves and made our night perfect! To make the night even better, a HUGE thanks to HOT WALLY for providing some great entertainment. Actually, not sure if it was Hot Wally that was more entertaining or the special guest singers throughout the night?!
Had to invite him, he's family. :)
I had made some place mats for the tables, they were collages of photos of Eric, and I think they stirred up some fun conversations.
I made up this poster, too, with all sorts of random facts that happened in 1971, the year Eric was born. (thank you, Wikipedia!)
