It snowed about 3 inches last night and was a little windy this morning so school was cancelled! :P I love the snow but wasn't mentally prepared for a snow day. When Eric got home tonight they all went out 1 more time and built a snowman.

Does anyone have a good homemade play-doh recipe? We tried the one in the February Family Fun but as you can see, it did not work!

Joey was sick over the weekend. Just running a high fever and no energy. He took a nap on Saturday in his bedroom and when he woke up he must have gotten tired climbing the stairs and crashed.

Cook all ingredients together until they form a ball, then let cool. Store in airtight containers.
We've made it several times, lasts forever...leaves the sands a little salt but the kiddos love it!
Hope it works!
Thank you, Amy. We'll give it a try. It's the same ingredients as the one I used accept different measurements...may be the key! :)

Hi Becky,
I used to make a recipe and I think the measurement were the same the one from Amy except for the cream of tartar. The key for me was boiling the water and adding it the rest of the ingredients and stirring right away. Also we used kool aid for the coloring and it made it smell wonderful.
Anne :)
