This past weekend Eric and I went up to Whistler, BC for the weekend with some friends. It was "the girls" turn to come up with a "suprise" for Valentine's Day (our planning wasn't near as good as the guys...from last year) It also happened to be Eric's birthday, too. The guys did some skiing and we shopped in the village and also made them dinner at the condo. It was a beautiful weekend with tons of snow and lots of sun. This now leads me to my title....Whistler and Vancouver are busy getting ready for the 2010 Winter Olympics. There are lots of changes going on up at Whistler and it's going to be awesome! They have a lot of the signage up telling what is going to take place where. Some of the events will be as close at 20-30 minutes from our house! So if anyone is wanting to "reserve a room" at the VH bed-and-breakfast do so now! Rates are great, you just have to put up with a lot of noise!

Ah yes, whistler...good times. I can speak from experience about staying at your B&B, course that was before the trio arrived...but I still highly reccomend it!
