Life's a party

Our string of great weather is continuing, with the occasional day of rain here and there.

The lumber truck delivered some material for our deck the other day and I went out to make sure the boys weren't in the way and found them sliding down the bed of the truck.  The driver told them to hop on and use if for a slide.  They didn't need to be asked twice!

Aunt Joan, this one is for you.  The other day they were talking on the phone and she asked Lucas what he was doing and I believe his response was "sitting on the couch talking to you".  I'm sure a few of you have had that response in the past.

While the boys are playing, the girls have started working.  They get the job of cleaning the shop.  Fun, Fun!!  :)

In kindergarten, they are starting to sound out words and write sentences.  Any guesses as to what the above paper says?  I did get a translation, although Lucas was quite apalled that I couldn't read it.  Oops!

Joey's organized night stand, look closely and see how many Bakugan you see "hanging" around.  Chances are, if you don't have an elementary age boy in your house you have no idea what I'm talking about.

But they're cool...

and magnetic, so I often find them hanging from everything and anything!

I sure hope you didn't have to pull out any huge splinters from that lumber truck. That would certainly take the fun out of their sliding fun!

Well, I was going to give Lucas' writing a shot at translation, but the "all one word paragraph" makes it really tough! :)

Trust me, Kath, I was worried about slivers and they were there but the boys could have cared less!
