Class of 2020! We spent the day together at the zoo last week.

Each of the kids have an animal they are doing a report on. Holly's is the giraffe.

Feeling the hair from a giraffe tail.

The lion and tiger feeding is always a favorite!

Mrs. M and some of the girls in their class.

The weather was pretty good for most of the day, we got a little wet at the zoo. However, on our way home it started hailing for a few minutes and then the sun was back out again. Crazy spring weather!

Mia's first orchestra recital. She did a great job. The last song was a favorite when the entire orchestra, 5th-12th grade played "The Bringer of Joy". So cool!

The next day Lucas, Tyler and Joey were off to a Berthusen Park for their field trip.

Lots of exploring and playing is done!

Not sure if Joey realizes it or not, but you're supposed to use the pole to SLIDE down.

If there is no one around to do bunny ears to you, you can do it yourself!

Saturday morning started out with breakfast and cartoons thanks to Uncle Dave. (Donuts for breakfast and his iPhone for Scooby Doo)

Then it was on to Mia's last game. They got their hardware to take home after taking 1st place in their league! Way to go, Hobos!

Then we were off to Seattle to take in a Mariner game. We scored free Griffey t-shirts for everyone!

Taking in batting practice.

This guy was IMPRESSIVE! We ordered hot chocolate WITH whip cream. So while his tray of at least 50 hot chocolates was balancing on one shoulder, he'd take the lid off a cup, spray it with whip cream, return the cover to the cup and hand us our warm drink. All without looking since it's sitting on his shoulder. They were so very welcomed as we were just a touch chilly (!) and had moved down to a covered section of the stadium (thanks to the nice man working in that section who let us sit in seats that were not ours!) Who knew the left field bleacher got soaked even when the roof is closed!

This is what our crew looked like during the 8th inning. Totally into the game! :)
