But some of us have been finding our own entertainment while the games have been going on.

Cartwheels over Grandpa? She gets an A for creativity.

BIG LEAGUE CHEW!!!! Someone was a rock star and brought these gems along to the game! Entertained them the entire time!

It's field trip season!

Mia's class spent the day at Hovander Park where a group puts on a Civil War reenactment. It was very well done and we all learned a lot! They of course thought the guns and marching were great fun, however, I don't think they'd be impressing anyone at West Point.

They had to see how many kids they could get in these tents. During the Civil War I think they slept up to 6 grown men in them. I thought it looked like a nice size 2 man tent.

One awesome 5th grade class!

Yesterday was our season finale for Sunday school. Even though the Survivor Finale was awesome last night, the one at church was way better! :) Holly was so excited for it because the second graders "graduate" and are given a Bible because they are now able to read it.

This afternoon she sat on the deck putting bookmarks by her favorite verses. So cool. (the sunglasses were also given to them at church b/c they are now so cool they can read)

Tonight was the conclusion of our Gems season as well. We played, prayed and ate! Here's Holly with lots of Vaseline on the end of her nose trying to get as many cotton balls over to the bowl. Good clean fun! (I'm realizing this is another marathon post...sorry, I was having a hard time narrowing it down) :)
