...we headed off to the ER with Joey last night after he and his brothers were wrestling and his face found the corner of the wall. Speaking from personal experience, I know head wounds bleed...A LOT...but according to my husband I didn't handle this stressful situation very well! :) We were supposed to be leaving for dinner with Eric's family to celebrate his mom's birthday and Aunt Joan was going to babysit, so Aunt Joan to the rescue, I called her to come a little earlier and we headed out with Joey. When he was being checked in, the nurse asked him to point to what his pain level was by pointing to the face he most felt like. He looked at her and said "I'm happy!" Thanks, Joey, now we'll have to wait even longer! :)
So, 5 stitches and 2 hours later we finally left and even caught the tail end of dinner! So, I'm taking any suggestions on how to get blood out of the carpet. I think we've salvaged our clothes but the carpet needs some work!

At least for now I will be able to pick out Joey. He looks like, "I've been naughty but it was worth it cuz this was fun."
Beck: Mom says soap and real cold water. I figure she knows, since she's a carpet layers wife and she had many clumsy and wounded children along the way...danny was such an idiot

Laur, Tell your mom "Thanks!" So far, I've had no luck so I'll try that next. Thanks for the other advice...doesn't sounds good. :)
